Job Description

  • The ideal candidate (Mandarin speaking) will responsibilities on SCM Department and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives execution .

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Direct and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead logistics and warehouse team to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers, and monitor and correct inventory levels at warehouses (including LMW) .
  • Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
  • Ability to negotiate prices and secure the most advantageous terms for material and deliveries with vendors and shipping/forwarding companies.
  • Being responsible in verifying all shipping and transporter billing documents including shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, shipment orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and work assignment.
  • Developing procedures in increasing efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the superior/management.

Requirements:

  • At least advanced/higher/graduate diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years directly applicable work experience in manufacturing background
    Familiar with LMW and the trade with China.
  • Experienced in lean production management.
  • Effective communication skills, proficiency in English, Mandarin (Cantonese, Hokkien will be an advantage), and Bahasa Malaysia, and ability to interact with people.
  • Require strong attention to details, proven and confident decision making with excellent communication skills.
  • High integrity and responsive to the task assigned from superior.
