Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a HR Business Partner, NESEA, AdMat & PP.
Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units/sites. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization, working alongside with HR CoE and HRSSC team.
The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As a HR Business Partner, NESEA, AdMat & PP you will:
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees and managers, ensuring compliance of HR policies and processes
Provide inputs and guidance related to day-to-day management of employees, workforce planning and ensure regulatory compliance
Provide performance management guidance to leaders and associates and provide necessary coaching and training
Partner with management on employee engagement by promoting a sense of purpose and belonging
Design, lead, drive and participate in HR programs and initiatives in line with the business strategy
Leading talent review meetings to develop talents and support managers on career conversations
Work closely with HR COEs & HR Shared Servies Centre to ensure policies and programs to support initiatives are in line with business priorities
Lead annual manpower budgeting and bridging analysis with divisional Finance
Lead merit review and bonus process and support communication
Lead Workday data audit and HR reporting / dashboards
Perform other related duties or projects as assigned
Dimensions:
Countries: Singapore including Jurong Island Manufacturing site, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan
Employee base: Manufacturing, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Education: University degree or above
Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience as an HR practitioner, experience in business partnering is preferred
Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, talent and performance management, learning & development and employment laws
Good influencing and communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Self-motivated, curious about new things and passionate about HR work
Able to work independently
