Support the lead class teacher with lesson plans and resources for day-to-day teaching activities to meet the learning objectives for the day based on curriculum plans and guidelines provided.
Support the centre’s daily duties in relation to the overall operations of the centre.
Support classroom session(s) for assigned level and act as a cover teacher when lead teachers are unavailable.
Support the lead class teacher with class record updates, child’s portfolio and communication via an internal platform.
Attend to a child’s basic needs (e.g. toileting, questions, etc.) during programmes / playtime / snacktime.
Ensure safety and emotional well-being of the children are properly cared for.
Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and the teaching team.
Supporting the manpower needs of the centre as and when needed.
Attend mandatory trainings when needed.
Job Requirements
Strong English language proficiency.
Early Childhood Education certificate holders preferred, however, keen applicants with no prior industry experience but enjoy working with young children are also encouraged to apply.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Creative thinking, proactive and have a positive learning attitude.
Preferred skills: Classroom set-up, preparation and routine management skills, basic first aid knowledge.
