Job Description
Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Robotic Process Automation Specialist. The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist will be working closely with business analysts, subject matter experts, RPA colleagues, and our GBS Global Intelligent Automation Lead in putting together business cases, requirement specifications, business and system process flows, RPA designs, and RPA application builds to support our global automation transformation initiative. The successful candidate will primarily focus on process automation using RPA, however, experience in other automation technologies will be a strong plus.
The successful candidate will provide creation services, working directly with various functions across the organization as a part of the Huntsman Global Business Services team. The RPA Specialist will execute value-centered initiatives by analyzing and designing process workflows, through building, testing, and implementing automation solutions. The successful candidate will primarily build using the Automation Anywhere platform; however, experience with other technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, Alteryx, Python, and VBA will be important. The RPA Specialist will work autonomously, managing the end-to-end to delivery process. This includes connecting with and facilitating the required collaboration with business and functional team members across the world.
The RPA Specialist is expected to be a team player and have an affinity for generating new ideas and initiatives to solve problems by leveraging RPA and other automation technologies. The RPA Specialist will be comfortable working independently and being challenged. They are expected to generate automation programs, be quick learners on business processes, be technically flexible, and have strong interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As a Robotic Process Automation Specialist you will:
Collaborate & coordinate with other RPA experts, business users on various RPA & automation initiatives for implementation potential by analyzing and designing process workflows
Develop & implement quality automation solutions from gathering the requirements, design, document, test, and final deployment, with scalable & reusable components in mind
Act as the subject matter expert for automation to others seeking to utilize automation technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business process, serve as expert to both direct team members and business / functional associates
Contribute to building repository of tools, best practice & reusable solutions, and promote the utilization of RPA where possible
Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals
Participates in and completes company-required training programs
Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company
Upholds our company values and the GBS A3 performance principles
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Computer Science / IT Business Application
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in developing major business automation solutions in RPA technologies and/or Microsoft Power Platform
Automation Anywhere (preferred), any RPA software experience is required
Hands-on experience in developing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power App, Power Automate and/or Power BI
Experience with Alteryx and VBA ideal
SAP ERP and / or SAP Business Objects experience is a plus
Multinational organization experience strongly preferred
Must have aptitude towards technology and analysis
Must be detail oriented and able to master a large breadth of information
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Be flexible with working schedule as part of a global organization
Certificate related to RPA is a plus
Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during employment
Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success
