• Check food to make sure its quality
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• Prepare food for cooking
• Divide food into portions and make sure that the food is well presented
• Store food in temperature
• Controlled facilities
• Make sure kitchen is hygienic and functional
• Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements
• Train and supervise subordinate
Job Requirements:
• Certificate / Diploma in Hotel Catering with ; experience as Assistant Cook or
• Secondary school qualification with ; experiences as Assistant Cook
• Basic knowledge in food hygiene • Knowledge of menu and cooking skills
• Knowledge of kitchen set up
• Ability to train new staff
• Computer knowledge will be an added advantage
