Job Description
The management trainee program will provide you on-the-job training to gain exposure and experience required to oversee the sales operations in the FMCG retail industry. As a management trainee, you will learn management skills that are aligned with the Company’s philosophies.
You will go through a 6-month Sales Operation program where you will start by working as retail specialist to understand the on-field operation and master the art of selling for the 1st 3 months. After which, you will be assigned as Area Sales Lead managing the operations of a cluster of stores.
You will embark your journey into the rapid growing environment of the FMCG industry through immersive on the job learning experience to equip you for future ready as a Key account Manager, Sales Manager, Business development manager and etc.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the cluster’s operations to meet company’s operation goals.
- To fulfil and achieve distribution and sales objectives for key brands in the on-trade channel by successful implementation of sales strategies and plans.
- To ensure full compliance of sales, price management, promotion and merchandising.
- Manage, evaluate and guide promotors within the store, monitoring and improve their job performances.
- Securing secondary display and improving planogram in stores
- Build and maintain good relationship with stores buyers/ managers.
- Responsible for achieving sales target of your area cluster.
- Interact and co-operate with the backend functions in headquarters such as marketing, finance and human resource departments.
- Make recommendation to improve the sales funnel and operation expenses.

To qualify as part of the program:
- Fresh graduates with less than 2 year of full-time working experience.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Speak, Read & Write)
- Dynamic, achievement oriented and good interpersonal skills
- Creative & critical thinker with an open mind and high learning agility.
- Adventurous, entrepreneurial & possess experimental mindset.
- Performance driven with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill.
- Works effectively both as a team and individually.
- Must be able to work 6 days including weekend and willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas.
- Have own transportation.
