Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or support all QS activities such as tendering and contract administration.
- Taking off, pricing and submission of tenders.
- Source for subcontractors/ suppliers. Produce and send enquiries to subcontractors inviting them to tender and engagement with procurement.
- Receive and analyze quotations, liaising with the team regarding price, proven history, availability etc.
- Prepare BOQ and tender document/ proposal, pre & post contract administration.
- Attend tenders clarification, analysis and negotiation.
- Prepare tender reports and award recommendation.
- Prepare and/or evaluate change orders, review and evaluate progress of work done.
- Carry out payment certification and prepare final accounts.
- Perform budget cost planning, interim forecast, monitor and control project cost.
- Any other may be assigned by the supervisor / management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or project management or equivalent
- At least 2 years relevant working experience in quantity surveying job and preferable in project environment
- Able to work independently, efficiency and strong sense of urgency
- A creative and innovative approach to problem solving
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills
- Willing to travel
