Job Summary
This position is required to handle after-sales repair and services, carrying out product rectification and product improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Perform PDI quality with less than 5 defects comments upon arrival at client premises including TCTS.
Perform all tasks related to aftersales Support, targeted zero repeating on the same task within three months on light truck, pick up, and 900 hours (off-road truck), standard dump truck, and prime mover.
Perform parts planning within 2-3 hours on each new assignment when assigned.
Ensure response time to end-user in any requisition to support aftersales with approval from HOD.
Capable to identify standard parts descriptions, and parts numbers as per the standard catalog when filling the parts requisition form to support assignment tasks.
Responsible to return damaged parts (with visible chassis number written on each replaced part using liquid paper) to Parts Admin once the assignment has been completed; usually within one working day.
Responsible to return any remaining unusable new parts to Parts Admins once the assignment has been completed; usually allowable duration to totally return is within 12 hours.
Report to HOD of any abnormality finding that affects Environmental, Safety, and Health, 5S issues, and Fire Fighting equipment issues, and inland security issues.
Improve PDI man-hours per unit.
Submit PDI document, VQIR document to HOD for review in the next day upon completion.
Carry out aftersales support regardless types of vehicles and location either locally or outstation.
Responsible to maintain all hands tools and report to HOD if any damages, loss or improved tools.
Responsible to maintain working compound as per guideline; 5S, ESH before works are commence, when works are going on, and after works are completed.
Responsible for firefighting instrumentals condition and operation
Qualification
Technical background with relevant experience or qualification; trade certificate/Diploma/Degree.
